କଳା ଧଳା ହଳଦିଆ ନେଇ ବଡ ଠାକୁରର ଖ୍ୟାତି
ସମଗ୍ର  ମାନବ ଜାତିକୁ ନେଇ  କି ଲୀଳା ଲଗାଇଛି |

ଆମକୁ ସୁନା କଥା |
ଆମ ମନକୁ ଆଜି  ବ୍ୟଥା |

ସାଳନ୍ଦୀ ନଈ,   ଅଛୁତୁ କାହିଁ ?
ହଦଗଡ଼ ସେ' ବନ୍ଧ,    ହୋଇଲା ଅନ୍ଧ |
ଧରିଲା ବାନ୍ଧି , ସାଳନ୍ଦୀ ଜିଦି |
 
ହେ ଚାଷୀ ଭାଇ , ତୋ ଚାଷ କାହିଁ ?
ମୋ ସବୁ ଛୁଆ . ବାଂଗାଲୋରକୁ ଭୁଆ ;
ଶୁଣ ହେ ଭାଇ , ଆଉ ଚାଷ କିମ୍ପାଇଁ ?

ଯାତ ସେ ଯାତ ,  କାଳିଆ ଯାତ |
ଗମ୍ଭୀରା ଭିତରେ , ନେତାଂକ ନେତ ||
ଲାଗୁଛି ବ୍ୟଥା , କାହିଁ ସେ ଗଲା କାଳିଆ ଗାଥା
ଭକ୍ତ ଚାହିଁଥା --

ଥନ୍ତଲା ପେଟ ମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ଜଟ
କପାଳେ ଚିତା ଭକ୍ତ ଚାହିଁଥା ||

ୟୋଗରେ ୟୋଗରେ ସାରା ସଂସାର ଯୋଡିଲା
 ଅଖଣ୍ଡ ସଂସାର ବୋଲି କାଲି ପରତ ହୋଇଲା |

କାଳିଆ ଠାକୁର ଅଣସରେ ଜ୍ବରରେ ଥରୁଛି
ଏମିତି ଦିଅ ସେ ମଣିଷ ପରି ବି  ଭୋଗୁଛି |

ଶାସକ ବାବୁ , ଶାସକ ବାବୁ
କାହିଁକି ଏମିତି କଣ କହିବୁ ?
ଫାଇଲ ଚାଷ, ଏଠାରେ ବସ
ଲେଖିକି ଦିଅ କାହିଁକି ହସ
ଡେରି  କାହିଁକି , ଡେରି  କାହିଁକି
କାହ  ବୋଲେ ତୁମେ ଗଲ ଶୋଇକି ?

ଵାଇଆ ହେଲେ କବାଟ କିଳି, କି ଲୀଳା କଲେ
ବାହାରେ ଭକତେ ଭକୁଆ ହେଲେ |
କହିଲେ କାହିଁ  କହିଲେ କାହିଁ
ଏମିତି ହେବାର  କାନ  ଶୁଣିନି |
ବସିକି ଦେଖ କଅଣ ହେଉଛି ବସିକୀ ଦେଖ  
ଦଇତା କହନ୍ତି  ଏ ପରା ଆମର ଜଗାର ଟେକ |

ଚଳନ୍ତି ବିଷ୍ଣୁ କ'ଣ  କରିବେ'
ସିନା ଖାଲି ସେ କ୍ଷୋଭ କରିବେ |
ଭୁବନେଶ୍ଵରର   ନିଦା ମୁଖିଆ
ଦେଖି କି ନଦେଖି ହେଇଛି ଠିଆ |


ନାଲି ବଅଲ, ଦେଖି ଦେଖି ତାକୁ ଫୋପାଡ ଭଲ
କ୍ରିକେଟ ଖେଳ, ଖେଳ ନାହିଁ ଖାଲି ଭରିଛି ଖଳ |

ଭୁଲି କି ଗଲୁ ? ଆଖି ବୁଜି ଦେଇ ମହୁ ଚାଟିଲୁ
ଲଳିତ ଭାଲୁ ଜାଣି ନଥିଲୁ ?
ସାଂଗରେ ନେଇ ଯାତ ଦେଖିଲୁ, ବାଇୟା ହେଲୁ !


ବୁଢା ଟି ହେଲୁ , ମରିବାକୁ ବସିଲୁ
ପରକୃତି କେବେ ଛାଡି ନଗଲୁ
ଏବେବି ହାଇ, ଜଗି ବସିଛୁ ଘାଇ
ବଡ ବାଳିଆ ଲୋଭ, ଖୋଜୁଛୁ ଠାଵ ?

କଇଁଆ ଡାଳରେ ଯଦି ଉପାଧି-ପତ୍ର ଝୁଲୁଥିବ

Indian Farming Future



True many politicians don't understand the farmer community. It's not a homogeneous class and the same class behaves different in different states based on the state milieu and culture. There are farmers who do cultivation for profit. And they also resist to get integrated into modern economy and at the same time corner benefits Govt. declares to farmers. Further, as input costs increase, it puts agriculture to profit-loss paradigm and ejects it out from earlier bonds of customs and beliefs. Politicians trying to use farmers as vote banks while farmers themselves don't want to be identified by our classical definition of a farmer half-clad with a gamuchha around waist and and a shorter one around head. It needs courage to say Indian society has to go for industrial where agriculture has to be redefined. : This is my observation. My ancestors were parents and my brother hesitatingly indulged in farming. And I keep keen eye around when I visit my village. I do visit my village every year atleast four times.

Not exactly. I don't see through very sophisticated intelligentsia phraseology - 'identity complex' etc. It's simple. Farmers in village want all the facilities what you have in urban area. They also want to have life of comfort with cell phone, zean pant. T-shirt, ear phone, 2-wheeler, better education and health. They see Govt. schools in suspicion as if designed for them to not to develop. In my village they have started liking to send kids to private schools though it's expensive. It's not identity crisis. It's simple because they are unwillingness to remain within our classical definition. They think all these talks and concerns and petty helps are for namesake. They look for some bold change that will break the shackles of poverty . Believe it or not nobody really wants to do farming. If you don't redefine agriculture now, you will only hurt yourself. Then it will happen automatically the same but will take long time - a cancerous decay . Eventually, people will migrate to cities and make Indian cities big slums. Deserted villages and lands will wait for just take over by corporates. Better now have a law and make it happen in constructive way. It's not me a wise man, everybody knows it. Among the a lot few have courage to face it. If I'll take name I know some may not like it. But, truth is truth.


What you are telling I have already told in my previous two posts. I don't have to say anything more. I have already told that in my story 'Rakta-Kaien', if you have not read I can send it to you. If agriculture is not redefined people will move out of village. If you don't agree to it, it's your reading. Yes, old and battered city-returned people will stay back. Agriculture redefined means it'll be run scientifically in profit-loss paradigm being in synch with existing economic parameters. My conviction says neither compensation nor 100-day scheme will help farmers. I think I'm done with it. If I say more I'll repeat the same points and you will not give me more marks, even you may deduct some.



What can be done ........... 1. Put a NAtional Farmer Relief Insurance Fund to insure any loss to a farmer happens in country. Automatically compensation goes from insurance company without political drama. 2. Like IT company concession give some relief for co-operative farming that runs professionally by trained youths. 3. Quickly set up agri-schools ITI like to train youths agriculture and related skills. 4. Put agriculture supply-chain in action from farmers via storage and agri-business companies to retailers and users. 5. Employ very good media czars and recipe kapoor like fellows to develop yummy deshi eatables and popularize it (may be Deepika, Bharat Ratna Sachin and others help you can take. You have to compete with all KFC , McDonald like stuffs. Imagine this business comes to our deshi products. All these are to be made in mission mode for 10 years. I'm sure Indian villages will prosper so also agriculture. Sunil and Chinmaya

Jawaharlal Nehru spied on Subhas Chandra Bose's family for 20 years


Two recently declassified Intelligence Bureau (IB) files have revealed that the Jawaharlal Nehru government spied on the kin of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose for nearly two decades.
The files, which have since been moved to the National Archives, show unprecedented surveillance on Bose's family members between 1948 and 1968. Nehru was the prime minister for 16 of the 20 years and the IB reported directly to him. The files show the IB resumed British-era surveillance on the two Bose family homes in Calcutta: 1 Woodburn Park and 38/2 Elgin Road. Apart from intercepting and copying letters written by Bose's family members, agency sleuths shadowed them on their domestic and foreign travels. The agency seemed especially keen to know who all the Bose kin met and what they discussed. A series of hand-written messages shows the agents phoned in 'Security Control', as the IB headquarters was called, to report on the family's movements.
For reasons still not entirely clear, the agency focused on Netaji's nephew siblings Sisir Kumar Bose and Amiya Nath Bose. These sons of Sarat Chandra Bose were the closest to Netaji in his two decades as a Congress activist. They also wrote several letters to their aunt Emily Schenkl, Netaji's wife, in Austria. The revelations have shocked the Bose family. "Surveillance is conducted on those who have committed a crime or have terror links. Subhas babu and his family fought for India's freedom; why should be they placed under surveillance?" asks his grand-nephew Chandra Kumar Bose, a Kolkata-based businessman.
Netaji's only child Anita Bose-Pfaff, a Germany-based economist, says she is startled. "My uncle (Sarat Chandra) was politically active until the 1950s and disagreed with the Congress leadership. But what surprises me is that my cousins could have been under surveillance… they had no security implications at all," she says.

Subhas Chandra BoseSubhas Chandra Bose revived The Azad Hind Fauj in 1943."The documents show the intensity of the bias against Netaji and his family," says former Supreme Court judge Asok Kumar Ganguly, adding: "More shockingly, the bias is by a government of independent India against a man who sacrificed everything for the country."
Author and BJP national spokesperson M.J. Akbar believes there is only one reasonable explanation for this long surveillance.
"The government was not sure whether Bose was dead, and thought that if he were alive he would be in some form of communication with his family in Calcutta. But why would the Congress be apprehensive? The nation, after all, would have welcomed Bose's return. But that exactly was the reason for its apprehension. Bose was the only charismatic leader who could have mobilised Opposition unity against Congress, and offered it a serious challenge in the 1957 elections. It is safe to say that if Bose were alive, the coalition that defeated the Congress in 1977 would have trounced it in the 1962 general elections, ie 15 years sooner," he says.
IB files are rarely declassified. The original copies of these files are still classified by the West Bengal government.
Anuj Dhar, the author of 'India's Biggest Cover-Up' who first spotted the files at National Archives in January this year, believes these were accidentally declassified. "There have been such cases in the US where documents classified by the CIA, like the mole in Mrs Gandhi's cabinet in 1971, were declassified by the state department," he adds.
INC president Bose was the Indian National Congress president in 1939 but quit following political differences with Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru. He escaped from India, first to Hitler's Germany, and later to Japan, where he revived the 40,000-strong Indian National Army in 1943, the first military resistance to the British since the 1857 War of Independence.
Bose, then 48, is thought to have died in a mysterious air crash in Taiwan on August 18, 1945, three days after Japan's surrender to the Allied forces.
The mystery around his disappearance has only been enhanced by over 150 files kept with the PMO, IB, Home Ministry and External Affairs Ministry, which the government has refused to declassify for decades.
In a written reply on December 17, 2014, Union Minister of State for Home Haribhai Parthibai Chaudhary told the Rajya Sabha that the declassification of 'Netaji Files' would impact India's relations with friendly foreign countries.
The incensed Bose family now wants speedy declassification of a clutch of top secret 'Netaji Files'. These sensational documentary revelations, it believes, could well be the tip of the iceberg.

GHARWAPASHI not a Bad Idea !

Woke up with a brilliant idea today , atleast I assume it's brilliant.
Why not ? Who does not want Gharwapashi ? Everyday birds
go out in search of food but return to nest at dusk. Lion roars out,
leaves its den at break of a day. But, returns to its sweet den. 
NRIs keep talking atleast of the dream of Gharwapashi ! And
NROs go emotional to return home for each Raja-Sankranti ! 

Last Durgapuja we (me and my wife) went to meet my village-lads
here in Hyderabad working hard at some small industries. It's really
had working for 12-16 hours everyday with a weekly off ofcourse.
I advised them to go for some technical training along with work 
so that can turn skilled and make better life. For  them getting into 
such job is very important as they age their  muscles will not pull as
 it's doing now for long 12-16 hours day. 

Wish Odisha Govt. will arrange some such training for these 
lads in different cities they are working outside Odisha. Not
only they can turn skilled and earn bit more for quality life
but also some of them may choose to return Odisha and start 
small business like mobile-repairing, bike-servicing etc. 

A decent Gharwapashi ..... Why not ?
Btw, Gharwapashi is not a bad idea ! 

It's natural .........
I'm thinking to write to Odisha CM on this proposal.

"ସତରେ ମୋ ଦ୍ବାରା ଲେଖା ଲେଖି ଛଡା ଆଉ କିଛି ବି ହେଲାନି | ଏମିତି ରେ ତ ମୁଁ କିଛି ବି ହେଇ ପାରିଲିନି - ଭଲ ବାପା, ଭଲ ପୁଅ, ଭଲ ସ୍ବାମୀ, ଭଲ ଭାଇ, ଭଲ ବନ୍ଧୁ, ଭଲ ପ୍ରେମୀକ ଓ ଶେଷରେ ଭଲ ଲେଖକ ବି ... କିଛି ହୋଇପାରିଲାନି ... କିଛିବି ନୁହଁ | ଈଶ୍ବର ଜନ୍ମ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ବନ୍ଚିଛି ଆଉ ଲେଖିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା ହେଉଛି  ବୋଲି ଲେଖୁଛି | ଲେଖୁଛି ବୋଲି ବି କିଛି ଆଶା ନାହିଁ, ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ନାହିଁ ... ଇଚ୍ଛ ନାହିଁ ! .......  ଧାରଣା ଲେଖାଲେଖି କୁଆଡେ ମଣିଷକୁ ମାନବିକତା ଶିଖାଏ ... ସେଇ ବିଶ୍ବାସକୁ ଆଧାର କରି ଲେଖୁଛି ..... ଜୀବନରେ କିଛି ନହେଲେବୀ ଭଲ ମଣିଷଟିଏ ହୋଇ ପାରିବି | ମୋ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ପରେ କେହିନାକେହି ଜଣେ ସାହିତ୍ୟପ୍ରେମୀ କହିବ ... ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସାହୁ ଲେଖୁଥିଲା | ଲେଖୁ ଲେଖୁ ଚାଲିଗଲା | ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକେ ଟିଏ କିନ୍ତୁ ଭଲ ମଣିଷଟିଏ ଥିଲା \"

ଆହାଃ ... କି ସୁନ୍ଦର ଲେଖକର ମନଟିଏ ! କେତେ ସରଳ, କେତେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ... ! ଆପଣଂକୁ କେମିତି ଲାଗିବ କେଜାଣି ମୁଁ କିନ୍ତୁ ଏଏଇ କଥା ଦିପଦର ମାଧୁର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଅଭିଭୂତ ହୋଇଗଲି ... ଲେଖକ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ବାବୁଂକର ପ୍ରଭୁ ମଂଗଳ କରନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା !

ବୟସଟା ମୋର କମି ଯାଆନ୍ତାକି, ଫେରି ମୁଁ ପାଆନ୍ତି ପିଲାଦିନ
ମାଆ କୋଳେ ରହି ଆକାଶ ଦେଖନ୍ତି, ତାରକା ମେଳରେ ରୂପାଜହ୍ନ |

ତୁମ ମନ
ସେଇପରି ଏକ ବିସ୍ତିର୍ଣ ଇଲାକା
