WHERE IS FRIENDHIP

In the course of time rituals, celebrations change. Change is permanent. But some go in hurry to make a change without looking into self's possession .. probably the thing is being reinvented in the name of change. Some such changes are current call for celebration of different days .. father day, mother day, friendship day, valentine day etc. etc ... The column  takes up the mindset in such day celebrations ........ Posted on MoKatha Page 8 of 7th Sept. 16 Nirvaya News paper www.nirvaynews.com  ....

Sir, the thought you have raised here is absolutely right.....i am always working on this.....Culture never dies it keep on changing with the passage of time....If something is not having any meaning with the changing time it lost its importance. However, with all these thing you will find the thrust behind the celebration is same.....but modern man does not know. We are no more worshiping plough on Rakhi Purnima. But the spirit of worshiping agricultural equipment is still there. We are worshiping tractor on biswokarma puja. As plogh lost its importance we are not worshiping it on the same day. Respecting agricultural equipment is there.

The rate at which days are dedicated for '"crazy-causes-cum-events"', one plausible solution is to ask God: "'Increase the rotation of the of the earth twice to have more days"'.
