This piece is superb. The metaphor for the culture of a community and for the process involved in the formation of it is very innovative. I hadn't come across anything like this in my readings on the subject. I also like the way - with sober understanding - you have dealt with the challenges that traditional practices confront today. I like the lucidity, the easy flow and the poetic quality of your prose. This is evident in the other pieces of yours as well.
