ଆଖିରୁ ପରଳ ଫିଟୁଛି ।
ଦେଖିଲେ ନରେ ଏଇ ଛଳ
ବୁଝିଲେ ବଂଶର ବେପାର ।
ବୁଡିବା ଆଗେ ଜମ୍ବୁଦ୍ବୂୀପ
ଡାକିଲେ ରଖ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ।
ପ୍ରଭୁ ତ କରିବେ କରୁଣା
ପାପକୁ ତାପଯେ  କରୋନା !
ସଂସାରେ ଭାରାକୁ ନାଶିବ
ସୁନ୍ଦର ମରତ ହସିବ !
କହେ ଏ ଦାସ ହୃଷୀକେଶ
ରଖହେ କମଳାର କାନ୍ତ !

Workers returned home in large numbers for unprecedented situation the

Corona virus has made in India and all over the world. Through a story

it talks of Bangalpur village milieu, the perceptions rural folks have in 

earning livelihood and its simplicity that has become complicated with 

migration for better livelihood which is now crippled seriously to ground 

zero level for life threatening situation Corona has made.

What the large mass will do ? Through the story the column proposes the

industries instead of clustering in Surat, Ahmedabad, Bombay etc should 

come to the places where workers are there, wherever possible. Let even 

there be less wage but workplace near home is a better option. The boy

Suneli has somehow convinced the factory owner zipwala to set up a

zip factory in Bangalpur. 

Let a rupee be 16 annas but good that  the child gains wisdom !

What can India to do for its burgeoning upward looking population ?
Particularly when pandemic COVID-19 has made people to return to
the roots what can large unskilled labour do other than farming? But
where is farming now ? All is lost in free rations and  globalisations.
The column takes up the scene through the my village characters to tell
how wise the village folk Chabisha is to go farming and enterprising but
consciously kept the factory small so there can be thousands of small
agro entrepreneurs around to address the poverty in a way keeping
village folks rooted to soil and keeping them aloof from upheavals in
drudgery of globalisation  that's a curse to India for myths around. True,
Indians must go for deshi chhatua (grain powders) in their breakfast instead
of cornflakes etc etc imported from abroad
Let Pashimaa-Chhatuaa brand triumph !

Enumerable states gives rise to a defined system. State of a safe system must be countable. But interestingly, Indians tend to innumerable. The dichotomy is being seen there while taking government gifts but not to be counted  on the population registry. In past villagers even kept count of ghosts living in its banyan tress, but now we can't say how many people live in the village and among those how many have gone prabasha. Count the heads to get how many hands are there to work !

But COVID-19 is differently illusive one; it's neither a silent nor a jazz one, but an undefined thing that nobody knew before. How to handle the asymptotic evil is the headache and debashbha (the court of Gods) is buzzed with unspoken words asking each distancing from other to remain in solitude, away of known  while living with unknown- the virus that forces each to retreat to quarantine ... the ekanta basha . The column takes on the issue with references drawn from Mahabharata to the present days !

You may find the column amusing as well as puzzling on basic question of excellence in life ! Your comments are highly solicited. Sorry, I couldn't translate the same in English for lack of time.

Computing Workspot Infection Vulnerability for Sandboxing a Business Process 

Abstract. While business continuity plan is for strategic handling of adverse business situations, sandboxing is a proactive strategy to avoid such situations to happen. Particularly, to safeguard a business from pandemic spread due to social contacts, this paper computes the possibility of an infection of a workspot that uses one of the five basic workflow patterns viz. sequential, concurrent, n-split, n-merge and on-spot-n. A workspot with a high vulnerability of an infection can be put under sandboxing for making a business process resilient.
