Sir, there is a saying; "When an engineer has a problem, he does not find a mechanic with in 2 KM radius'. Sounds funny but is true. I did not understand it initially but seeing the present way of working, it makes sense. When a thing goes wrong, he is unable to deal with it and he looks for a mechanic. He forgets that he is an engineer. And you are true, with so many qualified people around, you still do not find one in need. The grass root level had to be addressed. Technology is improving but working hands are reducing due to unwillingness. Sir. Pranam. Jai Jagannath.

agyaaN, it a balanced article from many angles. The best of the colleges like Vailure Institute of Technology vallorises about the Beautiful buildings and facilities it possess , but silent about the CV of its teaching staff. The story is same for institutes now. Like Cricket has dwarfed all games, it is now Computer Science Engineering that has paralyses all other engineering branches.

Very nice article Sir.. you touched the right vein.
The day people will think about making humans instead of machines - the problem of unemployment will vanish.

A fundamental thought on employability and present education system in the country. It is high time to think over it.
There is pressure from parents/relatives/society to fetch the financial security at the earliest.
Engineering/ Medical /Technical degree--> Guarantee for high paying jobs --> Success in life. But there is gap between supply and demand. Mushrooming growth of Technical institutions and inflated growth of industrial reserve army will not solve our problem.
And so many factors attached to it.
There is 'prodical science' syndromes in Social science institutions 😉 which further worsening the situation. What to do sir
