Chowkidar ... in Odia call 'Chowkia' a house hold name of  yesteryear is now a well dressed police  gentle man  but the image of past still on horizon of minds that are at the threshold to vapour. The column puts 'Chowkidar' on a big canvass drawn from past to the present with the fund remembrance of  the inheritance to the loss.
