Kamandalu is there with rishis of Vaidic times. Saffron clad clothes, matted hairs, rudrakhya beads on neck give a spiritual look in piercing eyes a saint of past is pictured with a kamandalu in hand. A little jug in lead with a ladle and a protruding mouth pipe for exit of water from it is a belonging of a saint with divinity on its forehead to brighten the humankind with truth that's eternal plucked from the garden of divinity where there whites and whites only to prevail from the top of Mansarovar lake to the tips of Kumarika that's jambudweepa the land Bharat barsha before for the saints whose words used to succeed when they utter with closed eyes and water in hand-cup from the Kamandalu having water due to the success of the saint's divine journey. 

The iconic Kamandalu has taken to picture of decadence as  a major contribution of typical Bollywood movies at times with ultimate goal to mock at the past of Bharat Varsha. The changing lifestyle when made open the doors by WTO, then noodles and coronas both made entry to our land so the curse is befallen on us. Sanitiser bottle is the new Kamandalu of shrunken life that hides now behind the walls of fears with folded hands of fate that seems is willfully taking a test on the humankind hoping it will learn a lesson for future realizing it's time to make a gain of inheritance not a decadence !

Self dependent is a Godly factor. It's believed God has put all the required on earth before it sends a life on to the earth. But, we take control of sources and put rules to control over it. Our world stands on the premise that being is a selfish and running the world is an optimisation problem. The governance of a country and our home turn to optimise things. In this, a being instead of self dependent turns to self acquiring making a consumers' society. Government doles out, banks give loans to buy more, consume more, produce more and in this chain all are to compete for the profit. In this run, China has gone ahead to dump all its stuff that you need or may need. The stuff may not be of quality but cheap enough to attract consumers. This has turned Indians to a buying community resulting to a huge trade imbalance with India. China may thank WTO for giving it an opportunity for boosting its trade. That's different issue to talk of. But, in the context of 'AtmaNirbhar' call of the Hon'ble Prime Minister what we require is to be 'AtmaNishta' - a citizen has to be conscious enough not to give up self to this consumerism. Understand your Home Economics and be with your capacity - that will add to  'AtmaNirbhar' effort of our country ! This column takes up the issue ...

MoKatha on 8th June '20 on www.nirvaynews.com Nirvay Odia newspaper talks of how ArthaNeeti i.e. the financial policy of a nation goes irrelevant for a very large part of the population when they remain and at time some even tend to remain there where are they going gradually weak and helpless in upheavals of global economy to which we have inked to commit not being realistic to the need as well as vulnerability of population who remain low in the sense capabilities to cope with the dances of indices that still ill-understood or not-understood to many many Indians because by inheritance we love live inside our circle drawn around a self , so making it AtmaNirbhar or philosophically satisfied with what it has , but there is loss of inheritance due to magi noodle advertisements to innocents who still have enough love to chhota-Hanuman while elders push them to the realm of their uncharted hopes often making them to think the world has noNeeti or ByarthaNeeti ! The column desires a large chunk pf population should be left to be happy in their own territory by their self isolation to global arthaNeeti which ByarhaNeeti to many many Indians, more while a large number of population is still for free food-tickets!

Today MoKatha column on 1st July www.nirvaynews.com talks of community spread of Corona now we are in India as well as around the Globe. Counting has been there since long and we like the big number printed on pay slip. Samant Chandrasekhar the erudite astronomer from interior Khandapada was fond of counting so he took his tool made in bamboo stems to observe the distant sky where the moons and suns keep dancing and twinkling to each other for tomorrow to come with handful of jasmine flowers. The mathematician Ramanujam went on counting on divine call that he himself understood leave aside what Hardy could understand how a village Goddess blesses, that is unexplained for years to come.  Now counting is of Carona patients, the spread is so bad that nobody wants  to hear the number what the TV channels flash every evening to show that they are true to the number , they flash it, tell it and scroll it until they themselves get fade up on themselves. 

But today on auspicious Bahuda Yatra, the prayer is there be no Gaana Carona!
