Present article on Temle/Masjid on the road. Really great obstacle for progress. You have raised fundamental questions why it was allowed for construction? But all temples and Masjid are created on the temples, so that they earn more donations through Hundi inviting attention of devotees. In the name of religion, we are dividing our nation. Who will demolish temple, he will be Kalapahad and who will demolish Masjid ?
Lack of planning and lack of foresightedness are primarily responsible. Anyone offering prayer below a Banyan tree can claim to invoke God there. Whole issue is we, the God fearing people always give religiously emotional logic for any action taken in the name of God or done for the God. Historically, many centres are identified as Pratykshya Devata / Devi and from time immemorial pilgrims draw strength from those God. Also, after going through the article, I was thinking just because beautiful roads are constructed providing access to many hitherto unreachable centres,many new Gods/ Goddesses must be getting added to those Pratyakshya Devata list. Whatever be the level of change in scientific temper and mad rush for materialistic gains ,people will continue to offer various deals and incentives to God for getting quick gains. God will draw the Lakshman Rekha to put the so called devotees in their proper place. Thanks for sharing
