True. It is easy to choose a life partner than choosing a foundational school for a child. We did not know any thing but by merit learnt to climb the stair case. But today's parents are more visionary in drawing a career plan from pre school days. Commoditisation and commercialisation has engaged the attention of parents to such an extent that they take the education as their investment for future.More than the studies the outer environment is truly a parlour as you have mentioned.The craze created in a child to go foreign is instilling different value system though out of fashion, schools are named as Gurukul. Nice reflection on a socially relevant issue. Thanks for sharing.
Very good article on education system. Now a days parents are planning how fast their children will earn more money without bothering children’s interest and passion . In that case we can’t create world class leaders in any field. Children also don’t learn any moral value . Technology has played also key role in learning as dependency has decreased on class room teaching (mainly Internet, you tube). Our Society is heading for new class of society ( no moral value from teachers and from grand parents)
