ଅସ୍ତଗାମୀ ସୁରୁଜ ତରତର, ସତେ ମାଗୁଛି ମେଲାଣି
ଯିବାକୁ ବହୁତ ବାଟ, ଏଠୁ ଛାଡି ଗଲା ପରେ |
କେଉଁଠିକୁ ଯିବ ?  କେମିତି ବି ଯିବ ? କିନ୍ତୁ ଯିବ
ସେମତିତ ସମୟ ଦଉଡେ|
ଛୁଇଁ ଦିଅ ମୋତେ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଛୁଇଁ ଦିଅ ଥରେ !

Setting Sun in hurry asks goodbye
On leaving pat, has to cross a vast.
Not aware of where and how
Are things to come
But that's how one to catch on
Touch me touch me, touch me and  run !

ହେ ମୋର ବିଗତ
ସ୍ମୃତି ଆଗୋ , ମୋ' ଇତିହାସ
କିଆଁ ଆସି ଗୋଡକୁ କଚାଡ
ମୋ ଦୁଆର ବନ୍ଧ ଉପରେ
ସତେ କଣ ଅଧିକାର ଜାହିର ନିଶାରେ !
ଆସି ପୁଣି ମୋ ବୈଠକ ଖାନାରେ ବାରମ୍ବାର
ପଚାର ଏତେ ସବୁ କେଉଠୁଁ ଆସିଲା
କାଚ କାନ୍ଥ ଆଲମାରୀ ଥାକରେ ଏତେ ସବୁ କିଏ ସେ ରଖିଲା |

Oh! my past, my remembrance and my history
Why do you thump me at my door-step?
Wishing you can ponce one me,
Numb me make me comlpy what you say?
You again come again into my room living
And asking me where from all these come
And  on glass cupboard shelf 
who has assured new stuffs for some.
